Home / How it works
CancelSolar.org is an educational resource. We do not pressure homeowners. We help you understand your agreement and — if your case warrants it — connect you with an independent law firm.
Start by reading our Learning Hub or running our Cost Calculator. You can browse the entire site without sharing your contact information.
If you want to talk to a human first, you can call (844) 777-0373 or email help@cancelsolar.org. No commitments.
When you're ready, our eligibility form takes about 5 minutes. You'll answer questions about your contract type, what went wrong, and how to reach you.
You choose whether you want email-only contact or to also opt in to phone/SMS — those are separate, optional checkboxes.
An advocate reviews your responses within one business day. We may ask for a copy of your contract or a recent statement to better understand your situation. Documents are stored securely and never shared without your consent.
If your case appears to have merit, we connect you with an independent consumer-protection law firm we have vetted. The attorney evaluates your case at no cost and explains your options.
You're under no obligation to move forward. If you do, the law firm will explain its fee structure (often a flat fee or contingency). If you don't, you walk away better informed — at no cost.
Or call (844) 777-0373 · No information required to start.
